Presenting the revolutionary Four Winns H2 OB electric powerboat
Recently, Vision Marine and Beneteau completed successful on-water testing (or “sea trials”), which saw Vision Marine’s disruptive E-Motion™ 180E (180 hp) electric propulsion system power Beneteau’s prestigious and sporty 22” Four Winns H2 OB powerboat. During those sea trials, both parties evaluated the E-Motion™ propulsion system’s optimization of the configuration with respect to the parameters of the H2 OB vessel, thus maximizing the performance of the uniquely powerful E-Motion™ outboard motor.
Under the terms of the partnership, Beneteau will purchase E-Motion™ 180E powertrains directly from Vision Marine. Although the two companies have not yet announced order commitments, the long standing relationship between both parties is a seminal validation of the underlying technology, and offers a clear revenue path for Vision Marine’s flagship E-Motion™ 180E electric propulsion system, which can be equipped on virtually any 18-29 foot boat.

Groupe Beneteau has been a leader and innovator within the global boating industry for more than 130 years, with operations in France, the United States, Italy, and Poland. Vision Marine is the first mover in a burgeoning market
Vision Marine is confident that the E-Motion™ will be the first and only high performance electric outboard and associated powertrain system to market which possess significant power and torque to reach speeds required to enable water sports, and thus properly propel diverse boats such as pontoons, center consoles, and catamarans. Management believes that no comparable performance electric outboard technology has been developed, nor is any comparable technology even close to commercial market production. Given this partnership with Groupe Beneteau, the E-Motion™ propulsion system is at the precipice of an historic moment in the marine industry, as Vision Marine rapidly accelerates its march towards zero emission via electrifying waterways worldwide, and to take a commanding dominance over the electric outboard market.
