Vision Marine Technologies (VMT) is a publicly traded company in the boating industry located in Boisbriand, and is one of the major players in high powered electric marine propulsion, electric boats.

PRINCIPAL TASKS & RESPONSABILITYS
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits of VMT’s electric marine solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with company policies.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials and campaigns that drive customer engagement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote VMT’s products and services.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Desired experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, preferably in the marine or technology industry.
- Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex technical information.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be bilingual (English and French).
