Call Agent


Vision Marine Technologies (VMT), a leader in electrifying the marine industry, is seeking a full-time Call Agent to join our dynamic team. The Call Agent will be responsible for handling incoming phone inquiries and reaching out to potential clients from our leads list. This role is crucial in maintaining strong communication with our clients and supporting our sales and customer service efforts. The Call Agent will report to the Customer Relations Manager and work collaboratively with other team members to provide exceptional service and support.


Vision Marine Technologies (VMT) is a publicly traded company in the boating industry located in Boisbriand, and is one of the major players in high powered electric marine propulsion, electric boats.

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide information about our products and services.
  • Make outbound calls to potential clients from our lead list to introduce VMT’s offerings.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Record detailed information from calls, including client preferences and any follow-up actions needed.
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to follow up with qualified leads.
  • Update and maintain client contact information in our CRM system.
  • Assist in developing and improving scripts for call handling.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding client concerns and suggestions for service improvements.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve company goals.

Desired experience

  • Proven experience as a Call Agent or in a similar customer service or sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to listen, adapt, and resolve client issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other customer management software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately record client information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive and professional demeanor on the phone.
  • Experience in the marine industry or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales or customer service are advantageous.
  • Need to be perfectly bilingual (English & French).
