POSITION DESCRIPTION
Vision Marine Technologies is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager and Paid Advertisement Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping our online presence, engaging with our community, and driving brand awareness. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing social media content, advertising campaigns, and maintaining the professional image of our public enterprise.
PRINCIPAL TASKS & RESPONSABILITYS
Social Media Management:
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more.
- Develop a content calendar and posting schedule to ensure consistent and relevant content delivery.
- Monitor social media channels for emerging trends and opportunities, providing impromptu updates and content reposts as needed.
- Engage with the online community, respond to comments, messages, and foster a positive online presence across different platforms and audiences.
Paid Advertisement Management:
- Consult, plan, and propose marketing campaigns.
- Execute and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter to drive leads, brand visibility, and ROI.
- Provide scheduled reports, analyze campaign performance, and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
Content Creation and Management:
- Work closely with the media team to repurpose and/or create compelling media.
- Manage multimedia content (photos and videos) to effectively convey our message.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects) to enhance and edit content as required.
Communication:
- Craft and maintain a professional and consistent narrative when communicating with investors, manufacturers, electric boat enthusiasts, boat buyers, and technology enthusiasts.
- Disseminate press release content to relevant channels.
- Have solid copywriting skills and contribute to the global brand narrative.
Desired experience
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and Paid Advertisement Manager in a professional setting.
- Strong proficiency in social media platforms – Instragram Facebook Twitter Linked in, trends, and tools.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with multimedia content creation, including photo and video editing using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to impromptu updates.
- A deep passion for electric boats, technology, and sustainability.
- A keen interest in understanding each and every different audience.
