Marine Integrator Electrician
JOB DESCRIPTION
Vision Marine Technologies (VMT), a leading player in the electrification of boats, is currently seeking a full-time Marine Integrator Electrician to join its technology team. As an assistant project manager, you will work closely with our technical director remotely and be responsible for assembling prototypes (pontoon, v-shape, race boats, etc.), assisting customers and partners with our powertrain integration, and wiring low and high voltage electrical equipment for our E-Motion propulsion chain. Additionally, you will contribute to prototype production and special projects aimed at validating technical aspects of our powertrain.

PRINCIPAL TASKS & RESPONSABILITYS
- Commissioning of the E-Motion system
- Boat wiring according to plans and nomenclatures
- Parts management, equipment preparation, and harnesses
- Organization of tasks and planning of deadlines
- Training and assistance for the technical equipment of our customers
- Execution of test campaigns
- Fault analysis and problem-solving
- Participation in the drafting of reports
- Collection and analysis of test results
Desired experience
- Demonstrated ability to take charge of problems and solve them
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for successful performance
- Ability to work in an unfamiliar environment while scrupulously following recommendations
- Strong learning ability
- Experience in wiring for marine applications
- Autonomy
- A high voltage electrical qualification would be a great asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, and Visio)
- Diploma in industrial engineering technology would be a great asset
