Vision Marine Technologies Inc. is a marine technology and recreational boating company operating across electric and internal combustion engine segments. The Company develops high-voltage electric marine propulsion technology and owns Nautical Ventures, a Florida-based recreational boat dealership, marina and service business acquired in June 2025.

E-Motion™ High-Voltage Marine Propulsion
Vision Marine’s flagship propulsion product is the E-Motion™ 180E high-voltage electric marine propulsion system. The E-Motion™ platform was developed specifically for marine applications and integrates an electric motor, high-voltage battery architecture, power electronics, cooling systems, controls, safety functions and a digital helm interface.
Key E-Motion™ platform characteristics include:
- Continuous 180-horsepower propulsion capability.
- Approximately 700-volt high-voltage architecture engineered for marine use.
- Compatibility with 120/240V shore-power charging infrastructure, depending on vessel configuration and installed equipment.
- More than 25 completed boat-platform integrations across 13 boat brands, including pontoons, bowriders, center consoles, catamarans and performance-oriented boats.
- Marine-specific thermal management, battery-management functionality, CAN communications, digital controls and safety systems.
- Technology development in component authentication, battery architecture, cooling systems, power distribution, propulsion controls, digital connectivity and safety functions.
In 2023, a boat powered by Vision Marine’s E-Motion™ technology recorded 116 mph at the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout.
Nautical Ventures Operations
Nautical Ventures is Vision Marine’s wholly owned retail, marina and service platform. Nautical Ventures was recognized by Boating Industry as the 2024 #1 Winner of the Top 100 Dealer of the Year.
The Nautical Ventures platform includes multi-brand boat retail, factory-authorized service, marina operations, boat storage, parts and accessories, financing and insurance offerings, demonstrations, rentals and customer-support activities.
Through Nautical Ventures, Vision Marine participates in the sale and support of both electric and internal-combustion recreational boating products.
